Making this Halloween Snack Mix with my grandchildren is a memory I won't soon forget. I'm not sure how the M&Ms and candy corn even ended up in the recipe, because I saw quite a few go into their mouths! Nevertheless, whether you want to enjoy the fall season with children or plan fun snack bags for work, school, or sports, this Halloween popcorn is guaranteed to be a hit.

Recipe Ingredient Notes

  • Candy corn - Brach's Harvest corn or Autumn corn varieties. Additionally, some varieties of candy corn include pumpkins that make a great addition for this fall treat!
  • Peanut M and Ms (M&Ms) - similarly, look for the Ghoul Mix or Mad Scientist Mix since these colors give it a true harvest feel.
  • Crunch 'n Munch buttery toffee - this flavored popcorn will keep everyone coming back for more.
  • Teddy Grahams Chocolate - these adorable little bears are always a hit with the kids-and the grownups!
  • Pretzel grids or Cinnamon Life cereal - the salty pretzels make for a sweet and salty combination in this halloween snack mixes.

Optional:

  • Mini candy corn pumpkins, Spooky candy eyes, Halloween sprinkles; you can generally find these in the cake decorating area of your local grocery store.
  • Halloween trinkets like black spider rings or vampire fangs, or Halloween colored sprinkles.

Ways to Enjoy Every Bite

This easy Halloween snack mix is endless in its possibilities. You can serve it in a big bowl at a party, package it into individual treat bags, set it out for trick-or-treaters, or display it in a big glass jar. Furthermore, it's a fun, no-bake option that can be tossed together in just a few minutes.

For a fun presentation, line a tray with parchment paper and scoop servings into festive fall cups. Meanwhile, you can add it to your movie night snack spread with kettle corn, mini pretzels, and chocolate candy for a sweet and salty combo everyone will love.

Finally, serve this for your Halloween table together with caprese flatbread and loaded tater tots for a rich balance flavor!

  • Always use freshly opened snacks and candies for best texture.
  • Gently stir to avoid breaking delicate pieces.
  • For best effect, add spooky decorations just before serving.

Storing Leftovers

We recommended that the snack mix is stored in a airtight container or gallon Ziplock bag. This will help them stay fresh for up to two weeks. Moreover, this recipe also looks great displayed in a mason jar.
