Dessert Favorites

Whenever I am in the planing phase of recipes I typically gravitate to two different categories- easy dinners or desserts. There is just something that is so fun about planning and recipe testing desserts. For me, it's the joy you see on other people's faces when they try a new dessert for the first time. These recipes are some of my favorite desserts, I hope you enjoy them as much as I have!

Everyday Favorites

Who says we need a special occasion to make desserts? I love watching older movies and shows where there is dessert served with every dinner. While we don't serve dessert everyday, I do enjoy making desserts often for my family.

Cobblers and Crumbles Dessert Favorites

Two plates of pear crumble topped with cream and a pan of pear crumble.

I've always felt like cobblers and crumbles make the best desserts- the mixture of fruit and a sweet topping makes a great texture combination. Plus they are so easy to make! They have the taste of pie but take half the time to put together. They are the perfect dish to bring to a BBQ or event.

TIP: for gatherings we like to use large cupcake liners for individual servings.
